Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Boo is a very sweet 5 year old uniquely colored Dachshund boy. He is a very gentle soul and listens attentively to your every word you say. He loves to follow his human around the house or yard and has a wonderful time going for walks and riding in the car. He’s happy that his foster mom has a car seat designed for the doggies so he can see out the window.
Boo seldom barks. He would like nothing better than to cuddle with you all day. His favorite part of his day is when his his foster mom gets ready to go to bed…he jumps up on her bed and often is found under the blankies..
Boo absolutely LOVES his toys!! When he gets up in the morning he finds a toy to accompany him when he goes outside to go potty. He will take a toy and run through the house, ears flying and tail wagging! You can't help but smile at his wonderful antics. Boo waits for permission to get on the couch but if you don't ask him soon he will gently give you a little bark until you finally tell him it is ok. Unlike many doxies he doesn’t have their typical stubborn characteristics…he is nothing like that. He is a sweet, sweet boy. We think Boo will do best in a home without very young children…older respectful children would be just fine.
(An adoption donation of $400 is required.) If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out the CHEW Adoption Application you can find on the Adoption page of our website: chewdogrescue.org, If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent.
