Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet Fiona was part of a group of 10 cats from the same family surrendered due to a divorce situation. Already spayed, we have updated her shots, gotten her microchipped, and she tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Can you imagine what it must be like to have lived your whole live in a safe comfy home with a family of people and cats, and suddenly find yourself dumped into a cold steel cage, away from all your loved ones? Fiona was petrified. She huddled in the back of the cage, fearfully darting her eyes back forth at the cacophony of slamming doors, dogs barking and howling, strange cats screaming, being roughly handled and prodded by jail inmates assigned to work in the shelter. One of our fosters was terribly moved by her plight and begged us to let her care for Fiona. She is a lovely black girl with a white frosting on the side of chin and scattered throughout her coat. She is a delicate sensitive girl who has had a lot of rejection. She was adopted and returned because she did not get along with the resident cat. She needs an adopter with a lot of patience. Fiona is highly affectionate, especially toward women. Can you give Fiona a chance to feel secure again? An application, home check, and adoption fee of $65 is required. Discount to seniors, military/veterans, and on disability.
