Facts about Sophia

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Tortoiseshell
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 8632891
  • Hair: Short

Sophia is a quiet, girl who would appreciate a calm home. She was born with a narrow, folded pelvis, so she cannot straighten her rear end all the way. This does not stop her from being able to move around and climb to the top of the cat tree, but we do require that Sophia be kept inside, as she may have issues avoiding danger outside. Sophia is afraid of dogs, but does well with cats. Since she is sensitive to a lot of noise and commotion, she would probably do best in a home without small children.

Sophia is Spayed, FeLV/FIV Negative, microchipped and current on FVRCP and Rabies vaccines.  Adult cat Adoption fee $40

About Annie's Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a last chance rescue for pets that are not likely to be adopted or rescued by a traditional rescue due to illness, injury, behavioral issues, age, breed and/or appearance.

Our mission is to rehabilitate these pets and help them find fitting homes for life. Rescuing the "un-adoptable" because they all matter.

Checks may be sent to P.O. Box 655, Cottonwood, Ca. 96022

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets are fostered in homes. If you are interested in one of our pets, please contact us for more information and/or fill out an adoption application to get started.

Our Adoption Process...

We start our adoption process with an adoption application. We will contact you with any questions we have about your application and contact a current or previous veterinarian about your past history of providing care for your pets. We then do a home check to see if there are any concerns there and to see how the pet is in your home and with any existing pets. We seek to find a great fit that will last a lifetime!
