My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elizabeth is a sweet, laid back, lap cat, short haired female. She is sweet and a laid back and she is "mothering" 6 kittens. She has no milk but she lets them nurse on her, she grooms them just like a mom would and she is just a darn good girl. Very gentle, doesn't get into things, and honestly, there ar eno negatives about her. She is a laid back lap cat and she is a huge love!! She loves attention and will sit on my lap or next to me to be petted....she's compelely vetted and ready to go to her forever home where she and her human can be BFF's for a very long time.
You may obtain an online application by logging on to CatAdoptionRI.org or by emailing catadoptionteam@aol.com. You may also call 401 440 9667 if you have any questions also .All of the cats and kittens are placed with the Rhode Island State mandated proof of spay or neuter. In order to take your new cat or kitten home with you, there must be an approved application prior to any placement. Application approval is usually within 24-48 hours. We, at CATS, are very proud of all of the cats and kittens that we help facilitate finding new forever homes, and work very hard to make sure they are happy, healthy and well socialized. All of the cats and kittens are fed only a high end cat food. We are at the East Bay Veterinary Care at 286 Maple Avenue, in Barrington, RI Monday thru Friday but we can show or adopt on any day pf the week. The phone number is 401-247-1111 or you can call my cell at 401-440-9667....just ask for Rita. Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten on adoption day as each cat or kitten is completely vetted prior to their placed. The policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be placed spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/leukemia, and have all age appropriate shots. There will not be any placement of any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions. This means that there is less out of pocket costs for people who adopt a cat or kitten from us and you will be in 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO, which is so important to help combat the pet overpopulation crisis.
