My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Set to go to an adoptive home on 1/23 for the usual two week trial period. Archie is a golden boy in that he is cat friendly, housebroken, crate trained and a love. Total lap dog. His previous rescue history prior to be adopted a couple of months ago follows: Archie came into our rescue out of the Seacca Shelter in Downey after being rescued by a good samaritan who spotted him lying on a corner in the industrial City of Vernon. This beautiful, shorthaired 9 lb. white Chihuahua with a dash of Italian Greyound is the mellowest, sweetest dog on the planet. He was in a dog run with about 5 other small dogs and just so laid back and not anxious. He has average to moderate high energy and would benefit with another small to medium size dog to hang out/play with. He needs a patio or yard as well. The person who found him had too many dogs so had to take him to the shelter but while they had him for the weekend, gave this description of him. Archie has a soft white with a little buff coloring. He is neutered, up to date on his shots and micro chipped. He has a little ridge of hair on the top of his head which is so cute. Good samaritan's comments on Archie. This beautiful and playful dog was found cuddling in a corner in Vernon. Took him home so he wouldn't be alone on the street and he has been the quietest and most lovable lap dog the whole time, no barking, no possessiveness, just a little skittish from the whole ordeal but he got through that quickly. The person who adopts this sensitive and sweet animal and give him a good home will be one lucky person. It cannot be stressed enough how calm and sweet he is with people and other dogs and cats. I never had a dog just find a spot lay calmly and here and there just come and sit on your lap. Adoption process: completion of a pre adopt ap, hmck, contract and adoption donation of $125
