Hi, my name is Lark! I’m a 6-year-old purebred Papillon, and I’m pretty proud of my lovely, silky coat and my magnificent ears. I really, really want to love and be loved, but I never really learned how, so I can be very nervous around people. My foster mom and foster dog sister are showing me the ropes though, and I’m a quick learner! I’m now approaching to give kisses, and will spend most of the evening hanging out on my foster mom’s lap. I’m very curious about the great outdoors and have learned it’s an excellent place to go potty! I like trotting along on the leash, even though it’s kind of scary being out in the world. I need a home that has lots of patience to let me bloom in my own time. Small children will frighten me, but other dogs would be great role models. Would you like to meet me?
