Pudge is a lovable and chubby Australian Cattle Dog looking for his forever home. As you can see, he is a bit plump, and will need someone willing to help him get to a more healthy weight. A strict diet of high quality food and daily exercise will be necessary to reach his goal. Pudge loves people, and would love to spend as much time as possible with his family. He walks great on a leash and would love to go on hikes and outdoor adventures. Pudge would do best in a home with no small children. He can be a little demanding and will jump up or lightly nip to get your attention. Cattle dogs also tend to have a herding instinct, and this includes small animals and children. Obedience training and plenty of mental and physical stimulation will be necessary to satisfy his desire to have a job. Depending on his potential adopter's experience, obedience classes may be mandatory before his adoption can be finalized. Pudge could get along with another easy-going dog; hyper or bossy dogs are too overwhelming for him. Please ask for an adoption application if you would like to meet Pudge and get to know him better!
