Hello World,
We are Cotton and Candi, a darling pair of two year old bichon pups. Our foster parents said to tell you that I, Cotton, am a bundle of love and energy and that Candi is a sweet and gentle little ‘bit of a girl.’ We weigh about 13 and 11 pounds now and are fully grown.
Every day is another opportunity to learn more ways to make the humans around us smile. I, Cotton, like to romp around and play with doggie toys, race and chase with my foster doggy brothers and ‘collect’ things. Mom says I like to take balls, or toys or anything from the laundry and pile it up right by my bed. She says that’s incredibly adorable – and so am I! (And smart, too!)
Dad says sometimes it’s a three or four ring circus at our house. He says that when he or Mom throw the ball, the other pups run after the ball. I, however, run after them. (Dad says I don’t care about catching the ball – just like to run with the pack!) Mom says that I simply enjoy playing – and that if you hear two dogs playing you know that I’m going to be one of the two! I’m just a charming, darling little boy that you will want to snuggle with any chance you get –I’m just that cute.
Now for Candi…Mom says she is a sweet little angel who is lovable, pretty, gentle, a little shy -- and that she has the cutest ways about her. Candi loves to snuggle in your arms whenever she gets the chance. Mom says she is a perfect little lady in the car (Hey, Mom, I am too!), is wonderful with other dogs and is amazing with all humans. She is gentle, trusting and very good with children in particular. Sometimes Candi can be a little shy initially but she warms up quickly and soon will curl up in your lap. Candi is really good figuring out how to get attention (it’s her sweet demeanor), but Mom says I have the personality and playfulness that will steal anyone’s heart the first time they meet me.
We love to be cuddled separately of course – and also love to snuggle with each other and our foster mom. (Oh and don't tell Mom this, but we just love to be held and snuggled by any human.) Playing with toys is new to us and doing the bichon buzz is something we want to learn. In the meantime we don't understand why Mom and Dad would want to do anything other than cuddle or play with us all day long.
We are working on learning commands (like ‘sit’) and Dad says I’m so smart that he knows I can learn more (and then I can teach Candi.) We are also happy to sleep in our doggy bed at night, right next to each other all through the night, knowing that we are two very lucky furkids!
Mom says is that our forever home will be very special -- because it will have two of the sweetest furkids in the world living inside. And Dad agrees. He says anyone who meets us will be a happier person for the experience.
