Meeko's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Meeko's Story...
Meet Meeko, a 7 yr old male neutered Chihuahua. I am a little shy at first but will warm up after a little bit. I am in good health with the exception of a very small heart murmur, scale 1, nothing to worry about. I was almost surrendered at a high kill shelter when nice people from PAAW saved me. My owner had passed away and her family could not take care of me. I have been in my foster home along with 3 other cats I sometimes chase because I want to play with them, and another Chihuahua and a pug who I am so smitten with. I love to borough under blankets to sleep, run and play in the back yard, and of course get lots of petting from my humans. I would prefer to be in a home with kids over the age of ten.

If you would like to set up a meet and greet, please complete our online adoption evaluation form and ask for pet by name! You'll be glad you did!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meeko, a Warren Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Warren, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
