Sasha's Story...
Hello there. Do you have room in your heart and on your lap for a shy little girl like me? Still very much a puppy, the world is so new to me. And, I must admit it can be just a little bit scary at times. Therefore, I am searching for an owner and companion who can offer me guidance and security. I promise I will try very hard to please you. Being close with people makes me feel safe. There is nothing better than sitting in someone's lap for some cuddle time. But, being a puppy, I do have a playful side. If you are willing to play with me, then I am all about the games. Sometimes when I get too involved with my play, I do tend to forget my manners. It's hard to put on the brakes. However, I am ready to learn. Teach me, love me, care for me and I will be your most devoted little gal pal. Due to my shy nature, I would respectfully request a quiet forever home with children 12 and up while I get more socialization to build up my confidence. If you are thinking of adopting, I would prefer a play date with any dogs in the home first. I would like to make sure I find the right friend who can match my play style. So, how about you come visit with me? Let's see if you are the person I need!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Harrisonburg Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
