Oscar *Pending Adoption's Story...
Oscar is a three yr old male Great Pyrenees that came to GPRO after going unclaimed at an Okla shelter. He is as sweet as he can be, good with other dogss, well mannered indoors; and just an overall typical easy going Pyr. Oscar is neutered and vaccinated, however he is heart worm positive & has completed treatment. Oscar would be happy to be part of a large family or just a single best buddy; he's a pretty easy guy to make happy:)

If you would like to submit an adoption application for preapproval to have this sweetheart join your family once he has medical clearance in a couple weeks you can do so at our local or national website: www.nationalpyr.org or www.wix.com/gprofok/gpr

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar *Pending Adoption, a Tulsa Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Tulsa, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Tulsa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tulsa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tulsa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tulsa paves the way for another one to be saved.
