Lucas is a gentle, submissive, and sweet boy! Lucas is doing well in his foster home since the first day he arrives. He is good with people and is very polite when meeting people. Lucas loves all dogs and is great with both big and small dogs. He is also very gentle with the foster family’s son who is 8 years old. Lucas rides well in car and enjoys his daily walks and going to the park. Lucas will make a great family dog as he is a good boy.

Poor Lucas was abandoned in a remote mountain where bad neighbors poison the strays dogs. There is a kind homeless old man who is 90 years old. He has no family and lives with 30 dogs without much shelter and food. A really kind young man visits the dogs twice a week to bring them food. Lucas went right up to him begging him to take him home and give him a chance to have a good life. The kind man knew the place was not a good environment for Lucas to grow up. He brought him to the vet for a complete checkup. Luckily, Lucas is a very healthy boy. He post Lucas’s story on Facebook hoping to find him a loving home. Months went by and there was no luck and no rescue would help him as they are all full with dogs. The vet made a call to Lucas’s now foster mom and told him about his story. Everyone loves him and didn’t want to see him end up in a kill shelter. Without a second doubt, she drove to the vet and brought him back to his home full of love and proper care.

Lucas is a healthy boy and had his vaccination, rabies shot, neutered and microchip. All he needs is for a family to open their hearts to him and give him a new life! Please give both Lucas a chance to live.
