My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosy appears to be a Rottweiler mix; she is about 2 years old and medium-sized at 60 lbs. Rosy seemed to know she was safe as soon as she was pulled from the shelter. She trusted her rescuers and her expression went from quizzical and sad to cheerful and happy in no time.

Rosy is an apt name for this sweet girl. She has been nothing but a rosy presence since arriving at her foster home. Brought immediately into contact with 3 foster brothers and sisters, she fit in fine and became part of the family, both human and canine. She loves playing in the large back yard with the other dogs and is also good with the foster family's 11 year old daughter.

Rosy is also a good house dog. Reliable inside, she doesn't chew on things and is house trained. She sleeps in a bedroom and in the morning gets up to greet everyone. During the day she will watch the street from the living room window and report on anything suspicious. Her foster dad notes that Rosy can't really be appreciated until you meet her, as she has so many endearing qualities that don't show up in a picture - the cute, soft soothing noises when she is sleeping, the way she likes to be covered in a soft blanket as she sleeps, the expressions on her face when she looks at you and the little grunts of pleasure when you snuggle with her.

We are very glad Rosy is part of the Dusty Paws family and hope she soon has the permanent home she deserves.
