My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Paul is available soon! This will be a big boy full grown and full of puppy energy! Needs a home who is dedicated to teaching him the way to be a well mannered family member. He is in FOSTER so email friendsofjcas@gmail.com if interested in meeting him

Hi, I’m Paul, as in Paul Bunyon. I may not be that big yet, but I’m going to get there (ok maybe not THAT big but I’ve got some big paws and the cutest floppy ears)! I’m currently around 25 pounds and around 5 or 6 months old. They say I’m a lab mix and was the biggest (and cutest) one in my litter. Some people say I look a little like a Great Dane puppy but we don’t really know for sure – maybe a little hound in there too. I love to play and I play hard with my foster brothers. They are a lot bigger than me but I keep up great. We run and play in the yard and baby pool ALL DAY long. We also go on long walks together – I love walks and get sad if I don’t get to go. Even though I do have energy, I’m actually pretty chill and I love to snuggle and will get as close to you as possible when you hold me. I am crate trained but still working a little bit on housetraining – I’m kind of sneaky and fast so I haven’t gotten caught in the act yet. I’m still catching on though and I really haven’t had too many accidents in the house. My foster mom has left me out of the crate in designated areas of the house where I can access the dog door easily and I have been doing pretty good. I ride great in a car and always want to be where the action is but when it’s time for bed – I’m out, you’ll have to pick me up to take me where you want me to sleep. I’m learning “sit” and “stay” right now, plus I’ve been watching the others fetch and I think I’m getting the hang of it too.
