My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thelma is an approximately 8 year old female beagle and a small girl weighing only 22 lbs. She is a very happy girl and her tail wags most of the time. She loves to be petted and will lie on her back for a belly rub. When she is not getting loved on she will keep herself occupied by playing with her toys. She loves the soft squeaky toys. She is a calm girl and enjoys napping on the couch in her spare time. She gets along great with the other dogs in her foster home, although she has not started playing with them. She is friendly to everyone she meets and has been gentle with the kids she has met along herwalks.
Thelma had a home but their big dog attacked her andit was decided to find her a new home. She had some stitches in her ear and a puncture wound to each front leg. She is completely healed but the hair is still growingback.

Thelma seems to be house trained and as long as she is kept on a regular schedule she potties outside. She does know how to use the doggie door.

She adores her daily walk and enjoys sniffing all the good smells along the way. She gets very excited when she sees the leash. She is a very healthy girl and we've had her blood work done, urine checked and her teeth cleaned. Everything is within normal ranges.

Like most beagles, Thelma enjoys spending time outside in the back yard so a fenced yard is a must for this girl. She's a quiet girl and her foster family has yet to hear her bark. She likes to go bye bye and rides well in the car. She sleeps at night in the crate without a peep with the door open. She is left out in the day while her foster family is at work. The dogs are baby gated in the kitchen but there have been no problems with leaving her out. She is a wonderful dog and would love to be a part of your family.

Thelma is being fostered in New Carlisle, OH.
