Smalls's Story...
This cute little ball of fuzzy is Smalls! He is an 8 week old pup who was found in a desperate situation by some great folks who took him in and took care of him for his first few weeks of life. Due to the situation,we are unsure of Smalls breed but he appears to be some golden retriever/hound mix. Whatever he is won't matter as he is so cute, there is no other like him anyway! Smalls will likely be on the larger side at full grown. He is a comical little guy that looks for opportunities to play play play and loves to smother you with happy kisses when you pick him up! Smalls has been around older, larger dogs and does fine. He is an explorer and has no fear! A very confident little pup he is! If you have what it takes to keep up with young sweetness and help him to learn and become the perfect forever addition to your family, please submit an online application to www.henricohumane.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Smalls, a Richmond Golden Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
