Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gentle, sweet, timid little Tilly looking for a special home!!! This poor girl needs a wonderful break and a loving forever home. Originally from a puppymill and then sat in a rural rescue for a very long time, and then transferred to We Are Not Disposable. She was in foster care for quite a while and then she was finally adopted. We thought to a wonderful home. So good we even let them adopt a second dog that had just came into rescue, named Freckles (who is also up for adoption now). We are not sure how long they were in that home before that home dumped them both off on another home, who then dumped them both in a kill shelter!!! Luckily they are microchipped and the shelter called WAND and we were able to get them back. They had not been taken very good care of. They were terribly overweight and needed dentals really bad.
So we do not want Tilly (or Freckles) going to anymore homes that are not 100% committed to them. If you are not willing to love this little girl til the end of her time do not fill out an application. Till is timid but veru sweet and loving. She likes to be carried and just wants to be loved. She is used to staying in an exercise pen with a potty pad when she can't be supervised but she is also very good in a crate. Tilly is pretty quite to not a barker. She is close to being back to a good weight for her size, she is about 7 pounds and barely overweight at all and she just had a dental. Tilly is a real bargain at only $100 She does need an owner that understands timid dogs. Tilly does get along with other dogs too. Her adoption fee does not even come close to the amount of money the rescue has put into her, but we are more worried about finding her the right, final, loving, forever home.
Has shots, is neutered/spayed, tested and heartworm negative, and is microchipped. We of course offer free training help. If you are interested please fill out an application
