Alex's Story...
Hi, my name is Alex (Morgan) and I was rescued with my mom, brothers and sisters from North Carolina. I love to play and rough house with my brothers and sisters, but I also really like my rest and quiet time and don't like to be bothered when I am napping. So much so, that I will let you know by giving you a sleepy moan growl when you disturb me and pick me up. Can you blame me though? I have eight brothers and sisters. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get my beauty rest?! When I am awake though I do love snuggles and attention, it is just waking up from naps that I don't like. I heard that is pretty common in people too. I am almost eight weeks old now so once I am weened from my mom and get a little bigger I will be ready to go to my forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alex, a Lyndhurst Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lyndhurst, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Lyndhurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lyndhurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lyndhurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lyndhurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
