My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Chanel!

She's a 4 year old English Bulldog mix. She is visually impaired, but not totally blind. Her eye condition requires eyedrops 6-8 times daily, and will ultimately require surgery. This does not slow her down much! She is reactive to other dogs, and would like to be your one and only. She is currently in a foster home, so anyone interested in meeting Chanel needs to call Animal Control (707) 464-7235, to make arrangements. She is quite entertaining, and full of personality!

Del Norte County Animal Control is located in rural Crescent City, CA (a tiny coastal city on the OR/CA border). We have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t come outside and play. Please consider making a difference in a dog’s life and adopt from our shelter!

We are open Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.

Address: 2650 Washington Blvd - Crescent City, CA 95531
