Maddox's Story...
Maddox is a 5 year old Mountain Cur mix who is looking for his forever home! Maddox does better with female canine companions, and prefers a home with no kitties. He is a sweetheart & would love a couch to snuggle on! Maddox is great out of a crate in the home, and would prefer to be your sidekick for most of the day!

If you're interested in adopting Maddox, please visit our website at www.c2cnd.org & click on "adoption process" to fill out an application! Adoption fee for pups up to 2 years of age is $250, 2+ years is $225, & giant breeds is $350 - this covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, heartworm test (if old enough to be tested & treatment if necessary), and spay/neuter.
Due to our thorough adoption process (resulting in prolonged wait times for long-distance families), our dogs will be available to local adopters only. We apologize for any inconvenience.

If you have questions about a dog, please EMAIL us at dogs@c2cnd.org and we will respond as soon as possible

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddox, a Charlotte Mountain Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mountain Cur for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Mountain Cur dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mountain Cur breeders who help with Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
