Meet Shiny, a very sweet, female Lab mix pup with a gorgeous, shiny coat, DoB approx. Nov. 1, 2014, spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped.
Shiny started out as the shyest and smallest of her 4 litter mates, but has become a favorite with our group since she bolted from a potential adopter during a meet and greet in August, was subsequently hit by a car and ten had to have her knee pinned and her hip repaired 3 months later.
Shiny loves to curl up on the bed, will get down if she wants to go outside. Even while recovering from her surgeries, she would lift both hind legs off the ground and walk outside to do her business, using only her front two legs. She is a remarkable girl who is leash trained and house trained, loves to be close to her human, doesn't ask for much attention, and can be shy about eating when other dogs are around. In spite of everything she has endured, Shiny's bright, sparkling personality has not dimmed. She is ready to bond and will make a great companion for anyone willing to spend time with her.
Shiny's injuries will keep from being the active puppy she used to be, but she does love to play and would be an ideal companion for humans or another doggy or both.
