Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Summer, a female lab-mix puppy, DoB approx. Nov. 1, 2014, spayed, vaccinated. Summer is always on the move and really wants to please her humans. She was adopted for a short time but played too rough with a much small, 3-year-old male doxie but would be fine with a larger doggie companion. Like her sisters, she is shy with people but is coming around and now only hesitates to approach if she thinks she is in trouble – which, as an active, lab-mix puppy, will be much of the time if not in a puppy-proofed home. She loves to cuddle and stay close though her instant-on energy can take her running out the door at every little sound, wandering cat or other dog barking in the distance - she never wants to be left out of any action. If she can’t be on the bed jwith you, she is fine with a box on the floor. She understands simple commands and usually complies. She and her litter mates were left alone, without frequent human contact, for much of their very young lives so when they came into the sanctuary, they felt overwhelmed. Since then they've steadily lost their fear and emerged as cheerful, energetic, bright puppies, not at all snappish or mean-spirited. She'd make a great pal for an active older child or companion for a like-sized dog. If you are a patient, lab-loving person with room in your heart, would you please come meet Summer?
