My name is Gunther!

Chihuahua/Fox Terrier (Smooth) Mix Dog for adoption in Grand Rapids, Michigan - Gunther

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Gunther's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Gunther's Story...
Gunther was a stray from the White Cloud area, and is now looking for his new forever home. He is a loving & well-behaved small 10 lb terrier-mix (maybe a smooth Fox terrier & perhaps even Chihuahua in there somewhere). He has a charming sad & curious expression with one constant tipped ear. He is friendly to all people, dogs of all sizes and children. It is not known if he'll be fine with cats. He plays well with other dogs, but while playing hard, he sometimes makes a loud cry-sound, that almost makes you think he's being hurt, but his tail is wagging and he's clearly having fun; enjoying chasing & being chased. He isn't terribly interested in toys. He walks well in a leash, but doesn't like being crated. He is microchipped, heart worm negative, neutered & up-to-date on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $200. Please email rescueofhope@gmail.com for an application. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunther, a Grand Rapids Chihuahua/Fox Terrier (Smooth) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Fox Terrier (Smooth) for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Chihuahua/Fox Terrier (Smooth) dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Fox Terrier (Smooth) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Fox Terrier (Smooth) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
