My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This charming gentleman was surrendered to the shelter when his owner became ill and was unable to care for him any longer. What an sad set of events for such an amazing animal.

Nickel is an absolute joy. He is well mannered, appropriately affectionate, and easily adaptable. Nickel loves the company of all people in his foster home and is happiest cuddled up close to a human. He is one of those rare dogs who has the desire to provide constant companionship while not being needy or requiring frequent stimulation. He just wants to hang with his tribe. Think low maintenance.

Nickel is completely housebroken, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines. He gets along famously with the three other dogs in his foster home as he is completely respectful of their space. He seems calm and comfortable around children. His soft and flowing coat ensures no shedding, but will require regular grooming. His former owners indulged him a bit food wise, and he is now making better and healthier lifestyle choices. He walks easily on a lead, which makes exercising him so very enjoyable.

This gem of a dog will make some lucky people very happy for years to come. If you are interested in adding him into your household, do not delay, as he will be scooped up quickly.
