My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Need a walking partner? An excuse to get a little more exercise?? Abby's your girl!!

She's an exotic beauty. . .check-out her Mohawk and slight Fu Manchu/Andy Rooney eyebrows! She also has the most loving, quiet personality. She's happiest when cuddling, but also loves outside/car adventures and wagging her tail -- without barking! Abby's excellent in the car and on a leash. Excellent walker/hiker. Her long legs are perfect for getting out and exploring LA's hiking trails. Great at the dog park too. Lots of spunky energy. Plus, she's about 15 pounds, so she can go everywhere with you!

She's excellent in the home. Abby sleeps through the night. Loves to sleep on the bed with her human, but she's also fine in her dog bed. Will also warm your lap when you're chillin' and watching tv. And her terrier hair doesn't shed!!

Abby is completely house-trained and is quite the acrobat -- she does a handstand when she piddles! (Check-out her video!) She's not a barker and would be an excellent companion for someone who wants a couch or car buddy. She's sweet to everyone she meets and every member of the family is her favorite ;-). If someone falls asleep on the couch she'll quietly share a naptime with them and keep their toes warm. She's looking for some love that she'll return (in spades!) every chance she gets.

Abby is fine with large dogs, but she's not always great with other alphas. She's a bit of an alpha herself so some dogs can find her to be a bit much. She likes dogs; it just has to be the right match. She's also great by herself. The intro is key.

Favorite pastimes include looking lovingly up at her person while wagging her tail, following her person around, or napping on the highest part of the couch. She's super chill and very sweet. She’s great with women, and warms-up to men, but it just takes a bit longer. . .treats help!

Abigail is up-to-date on her shots, spayed and microchipped. Most of all, she's ready for a Forever Home! She’s really a lovely girl! Please consider making her a part of your family.

Not sure you're ready to commit? How about a trial??? We are always looking for fosters. You supply a temporary home and some love. . .we supply everything else! It's a great way to see if you're ready for a full-time companion. Call or email with any questions. Thanks!
