Jilly's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Jilly is a beautiful blue (gray) and tan puppy. She is approximately 8 weeks old and will be available on 5/16. These cute puppies appear to be Miniature Pinscher and Dachshund so they should be small. They wound up in the shelter as tiny babies and were bottle fed. They are so sweet and pretty stinking cute! They will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have first vaccine and ready for a home of their own soon. We are pre-approving applications now. You can find our adoption process and apply online at: http:// recycledpetsnorcal.org/ adoption-process/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jilly, a Sacramento Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher puppy from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
