AL's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

AL's Story...
d.o.b.: ~Sept/2008..a very handsome 15' purebred beagle, weighing a healthy 26lbs. Beagles make EXCELLENT family pets! Al was rescued from a full 'kill' shelter in western NC. He is neutered, microchip'd, current on all vax, on heartworm prevention and Frontline+, so is parasite-free. He's very sweet & quietly friendly, gets along well with other dogs, is playful and has a gentle disposition. He came to H4S with a slight trust issue with men, but has blossomed and trusts when he can smell/fee you are a gentle person...obviously, unlike the person who had him before the shelter got him. He walks well on-leash and wants to please his person. His adoption requires a 5'>6' high fenced-in yard, for proper daily exercise and 'outside' time. Al is a great young man with alot of unconditional love to give the right person. He is in foster care in Rutherford Co, NC. His adoption fee is $125(includes spay/microchip/vax & is parasite-free). Any delay in completeing the application below may jeopardize your chances of adopting this particular pet. All interested adopters are required to complete an application. You will be notified upon receipt. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Howlin4Spirit Companion Animal Rescue** **Adoption Application** We realize, in a logical perspective, that we are not going to be able to broadly change the World. But, we know we can be an advocate of change. We know that we can not rescue every animal in need, but little by little, we can help one animal at a time. We know we CAN make a difference! ******************************************************************************************************* Thank you, for considering adopting a rescued companion animal. Please, copy and paste this application IN TO a new email(no attachments), complete all questions(an incomplete app will be discarded) and forward to: h4s_cares@yahoo.com, at your most earliest convenience. Any delay in your response may result in missing out on the dog you are interested in. First, we will review your application, check all your references & if we feel it is a good match, we will contact you asap, to complete the adoption process for your new best friend. Upon approval, we require a $78 'good faith' deposit, via PayPal.com. The balance of the adoption fee is then due at the time of delivery. In most cases, a home visit will be necessary. However, we do make exceptions on a case by case basis. We also will consider a photographic tour of your entire property and of all family members in lieu of a face-to-face home visit. Not every dog is the right match for every person or environment. Completing this questionaire will help us to determine the personality, temperament and energy level of the animal who will best suit the needs of your family & your lifestyle. ********************************************************************************************************* Date: Pet interested in: 1 Name of applicant: 2 Address: City, State, & zip code: 3 How long at this address: 4 Telephone #s:(h) (w) (c) 5 Email address: 6 With whom are you employed: Your occupation: 7 Spouse/partner's employer: Spouse/partner's occupation: 8(a) Number of children living in this household: Their ages: (b) Number of adults living in this household: Their names, ages and occupations: (c) Is anyone living in this household either pregnant or trying to become pregnant: 9 What type of environment do you live in: Rural___Suburb___City___ 10 Housing: Apt___House___Duplex___Mobile Home___Other___ 11 Own or rent (a)If you rent, do you have permission from your landlord to own a companion animal under 25lbs? over 25lbs? Why Adoption is a Great Option

AL, a Brookside Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Brookside, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Brookside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brookside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brookside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brookside paves the way for another one to be saved.
