Reno's Story...
Reno was found on the side of the road where he'd been dumped off, in a rural western NC by a young lady who was heading off to college and who contacted H4S when she learned it would cost her a $500 deposit to keep him in her apt close to school. Little did the person who dumped this BEAUTIFUL little soul off on that lonely road know how sweet & smart little Reno would turn out to be. In just 2 weeks with that college student, he was housebroken and learned sit, stay and come. Pretty good for an 8 wk old pup, eh!? Reno is now 10 weeks old, weighs in at 20lbs, is neutered, microchipped, current on his vax, per age, and parasite-free. He's got to be the smartest pup we've ever come across in the 6 years we've been rescueing/rehoming K9s. This young lad will certainly be a prize to ANY family/person who is lucky enough to match his needs in a furever situation. His adoption fee is $220(includes transport to your area). Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reno, a Brookside Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brookside, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Brookside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brookside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brookside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brookside paves the way for another one to be saved.
