Dixie's Story...
Sept 11, 2008: Dixie was rescued from a kill shelter when she was turned in by her owner's children when her owner went into a nursing home. Dixie is a fine young lady of 8 years, has a calm gentle personality and loves to be with her person. Her needs are few, just a soft, warm bed and a family to call her own in her senior years. Is YOUR life missing someone special in it? Then, won't you consider opening up your heart and home to this sweet girl who's looking to love UNconditionally again? Dixie is being fostered in NC and will be happy to take a ride to her new family, wherever you may be from NC>CT. If there's LOVE there, Dixie wants to be, too! Dixie's adoption fee is $150(all inclusive). Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dixie, a Williston Park Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Williston Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Williston Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williston Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williston Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williston Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
