Swifty's Story...

Please, use the application provided on our Home page.

Swifty was rescued from an unwanted litter situation. Our vet's office has taken in several litters from and tried to educate the elderly couple, but they continue to think that their female dogs can't get pregnant if they tie them to a tree.

Swifty is very friendly, fun, playful affectionate and outgoing, gets long with other dogs, kids, and cats

Would be an EXCELLENT companion for a family with kids.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Swifty, a Williston Park Corgi/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Dachshund for sale in Williston Park, or seeking a Corgi/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Williston Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williston Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williston Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Dachshund breeders who help with Corgi/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williston Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
