Henry's Story...
Oct 12, 2008: Henry & his 7 siblings were rescued after their mama was dumped off in a rural area of western NC, and turned up pregnant. A kind samaritan took her in and cared for all of them, until mama could wean them off of her. That's where H4S CARes stepped in. These little guys and gals are 8 weeks old, yesterday, and have recv'd their first puppy booster and 2 dewormings. They are healthy and happy and want a family to call their own. Coming from a good-sized litter, they would do well with another furbuddy in their furever home/family. They will be speutered & microchipped, soon. Their adoption fee is $175(all inclusive). To apply to adopt one of these sweeties, please complete the adoption application below and forward to: h4s_cares@yahoo.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *******Howlin4Spirit Companion Animal Rescue******* ********Adoption Application******** Thank you, for considering adopting a rescued companion animal. If/when approved, we will contact you to schedule a convenient time for a home visit, to complete the adoption process. ************************************************************************************************************ I realize, in a logical perspective, that I am not going to be able to broadly change the World. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henry, a Lincolndale Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lincolndale, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Lincolndale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolndale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolndale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolndale paves the way for another one to be saved.
