Tucker's Story...
Tucker was rescued after being abandoned in a rural community of our county. This special little guy is ~1 1/2>2yrs old, weighs ~18lbs, neutered, microchipped, current on all vax, parasite-free, healthy, happy and ready for his happily furever after to begin. He LOVES kids and gets along well with other dogs his size or smaller. He seems to be a little intimidated by bigger dogs, as a direct result of having to fend for himself for so long. We have not tested him with cats, yet(but will be more than happy to, if needed). Tucker and his 'girlfriend', Nalu, were seen for several weeks together, sleeping and plying on the grounds of an elementary school and surviving from handouts from a local restaurant in a small community in rural Rutherford County, NC. He is in a foster home with 25 other dogs, is crate-trained at night, and has an open-door policy where he is during the daytime on a fenced-in 5acre compound. He loves to play, is gentle and kind and will make a wonderful bed buddy for just the right boy or girl, when they finally find him and claim him as their very own. Tucker's adoption fee is $125(all inclusive). For more info on this wonderful little fellow, please email his foster mom at: howlin4spirit@wmconnect.com or complete the application(below), to add him to your family pack and send to: h4s_cares@yahoo.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Howlin4Spirit Companion Animal Rescue** **Adoption Application** We realize, in a logical perspective, that we are not going to be able to broadly change the World. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Lincolndale Corgi/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Dachshund for sale in Lincolndale, or seeking a Corgi/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Lincolndale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolndale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolndale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Dachshund breeders who help with Corgi/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolndale paves the way for another one to be saved.
