Boone's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Boone's Story...

Boone was rescued from the San Antonio city shelter with chemical burns down both of his front legs and a horrible ear infection. His burns are now almost healed and his ear infection has cleared up.

Boone is house-trained, crate-trained and does well off-leash. He listens well and is very smart. He knows sit, stay, makes great eye contact and loves to shake hands with everyone. He is a companion dog that thinks he is a lap dog. He does not like to be outside very much and prefers to hang out with his humans inside where ever you are.  He has a calm demeanor inside a house, but when you take him outside he has bursts of energy. He loves his toys and relocates them all over the house.

He gets along awesome with other dogs and kids.  He respects the alpha dog in the house, shares his toys, waits his turn to be fed and shows absolutely no signs of food aggression. He loves baths. When taken to outdoor restaurants he sits quietly while his humans eat.

Boone will do best in an active family with or without children and with dogs where he will get daily walks and hikes. His new owners will have to be patient with his leash training.

Boone has to be in a home without cats, fowl, or livestock.

L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic.

All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with Paws Without Borders and other rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee is $350 for most dogs and $400 for extra-large dogs (due to transport costs) and includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boone, a Olympia Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Olympia, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Olympia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olympia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olympia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olympia paves the way for another one to be saved.
