My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nalu is a young and very sweet female Shepard/Black Mouth Cur mix, who was dumped out of a moving vehicle with her siblings when they were just a couple of months old.

Nalu is very gentle and loving. She can be very shy and timid around new people, and we can only imagine how she must have been treated before being abandoned. She is becoming more confident and is coming out of her shell, and is learning to walk on a leash. She has already learned how to sit and give high-fives!

She is crate-training and house-training nicely, and she will need you to continue teaching her, since she is still just a pup. She also looks forward to some one-on-one doggy training classes to help her learn more tricks and become more confident in herself. W e think she would really enjoy having a submissive doggy playmate around to keep her company.

Nalu is hoping for a calm family with older kids or an older couple looking for a sweet, calm, and loving friend. Her new family will need to be patient with her and show her just how nice and loving humans can be while she adjusts to her new life as a loved companion.

L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic.

All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with Paws Without Borders and other rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.
