Phoebe's Info...

I am housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Phoebe's Story...
Phoebe had been left abandoned after her family moved. They left her outside with just a cardboard box and no food or water to fend for herself. She is a super sweet girl. She has lots of energy and loves to run, play and shower you with kisses.

She is crate trained and good on a leash. Phoebe loves to play and would do best in a family with at least one other dog to play with. She is in need of a foster until she finds her furever family. If you wold love to meet Phoebe, please contact us at PetRescueTeam.tx@gmail.com

Foster/Adoption applications can be submitted at www.PetRescueTeam.com/applications

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoebe, a Houston Chihuahua/Whippet dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Whippet for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua/Whippet dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Whippet breeders who help with Chihuahua/Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
