Angus's Story...
Howdy! My name is Angus and I'm a handsome boy if I do say so myself. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was living in a backyard totally ignored when this nice lady came along and said she'd find me a good home if the people who had me didn't want me. I sure am glad she took me because half the time they'd forget to give me water and sometimes I didn't get much to eat. But here I am! Living in a nice house, with a nice lady and her family. They tell me I'm six months old. Wow! I guess that makes me a puppy. But I sure don't feel like a baby because I'm already house trained, crate trained too! I'm a real good pup. I know I have a lot to learn like walking nice on a leash, and basic commands but I am so willing to learn. I am a quick learner! I'm about 38 pounds right now and I'm not sure how big I'm going to be but if you don't want me to get any bigger than 50 pounds -- then I'll do my very best not to! I really want to be part of a family with kids. I'd love a few kids of my own. I'm going to be such a fun pup to have around. If you like the way I look and you want to meet me in person please come by for a visit on the weekend at the Petsmart store in New Braunfels. I'd sure love to meet you!

Note: Angus is neutered on June 15 and has his final DHPP and a Bordetella vaccine plus a microchip. He has his rabies vaccine. His adoption fee includes neuter, full set of vaccines, rabies, microchip with transfer to new pet parent.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angus, a New Braunfels Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in New Braunfels, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in New Braunfels.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Braunfels already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Braunfels breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Braunfels paves the way for another one to be saved.
