My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Captain is part of our "Octonauts" Beagle mix litter, and they are a vivacious batch! We know the coloration doesn't look much like a Beagle, lol, but several have Beagle markings and they look to be Beagle-y in size, along with the character they demonstrate, so that is our best guess. Please understand that in the south Beagles are quite actively used for hunting, so you can expect from southern pulls a more active and sporty type Beagle. Captain is a *sensational* puppy. If you long for a lot of intelligence and character, he is your boy. Extroverted, confident and extremely friendly, Captain has a definite star quality thing going on. He has a motivated-yet-darling personality, extremely high learning rate, and just owns the world. He also has very unique and cool coloration....beautifully hued brown with an ink dip black tail (we have not seen this before!) and a dilute black necklace. He is not a puppy for a first time dog owner to raise, nor for those who do not understand that some dogs need a job....he is not the type of puppy to wile his years away simply being cute, getting pats and walkies. But if you were hoping for a dog of a lifetime, he pretty much is it. Adoption fee is $450. Applications are available on the Southpaws Express website, or by contacting Lucy at maramuser@gmail.com.
