Avon's Story...
This little girl has had a pretty rough life. She was found inside the engine of a truck... after it had driven several miles to the gas station! What a ride! Needless to say, she is kind of a nervous little kitten. It takes her a bit to warm up to people and other animals. She is a noisy thing at first, but eventually will melt in your arms and purr up a storm. Her eyes will melt your heart. She just has to learn to trust you, then she's yours for life. She's fostered in Huntsville, AL, but she won't be picky about where she ends up as long as she is loved. She is up to date on vaccines, spay, microchipped, dewormed and examined by a vet. Her adoption fee is $75 and you can complete an application for her at http://www.forrescue.net/cat-application/. Apps are reviewed in the order they are received so fill out your app for Avon today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Avon, a Nashville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
