Betty's Info...

Betty's Story...
Betty is a 3 month old adorable kitten. She is very social, playful, loves people and other cats and kittens. Betty has a sister (Boop) and while we would like them to be adopted together it is not necessary if you already have a cat or a kitten loving pup.
Betty is tested for FIV and FELV, vaccinated and will be spayed when she is a little older.
Betty has a very interesting coloring - she seems to be a tabby with orange undertones. There is no description of her colors (therefore we picked the closest - tiger striped) but you must meet her to appreciate this sweet rainbow kitten!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betty, a Brooklyn American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
