Meet Webster! He’s a 2 year old male boxer pitty mix boy. This sweetheart came to us as a puppy and was adopted out to a family, however it was not the right match .. Webster is a lovely very very dog social boy who loves hanging out with other dogs. He is house trained, crate trained and was obedience trained. He lived with kids, but is nervous with new people or kids he does not know – so we recommend an adult only home for him. He’s sensitive, loyal and loving. Webster still acts like a puppy with people he knows and trusts and has so muh love to give.

Webster can easily get spooked by new people, and is unsure. He loves being in the house with his family and bonds very strongly to his people. He will bark and let you know when someone is coming to the house, as he is protective at times. He would benefit from a quiet home without lots of people coming and going and another dog. Continued training is a plus for webster.

Please email adopt@rocketdogrescue.org to find out more about him!

About Rocket Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We rescue not for politics, fortune, or fame, my friend… but for the kiss of a dog.

Rocket Dog Rescue, the name says it all. We are an all-volunteer nonprofit group dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned animals from euthanasia in overcrowded Bay Area shelters. We literally give them a second chance at life. And everybody deserves a second chance.

Rocket Dog Rescue places non-aggressive dogs into temporary foster homes where they are socialized, spay/neutered, vaccinated, and treated for any medical or behavioral conditions which would otherwise limit their adoptability. We then actively seek out permanent quality homes for these deserving animals through our volunteer network, online adoption page, weekend adoption fairs, and neighborhood poster campaigns.

Founded in 2001 by Bay Area animal activist Pali Boucher, Rocket Dog Rescue is a 501-C3 nonprofit corporation supported completely by donations. Our all-volunteer, home-based organization guarantees that your donations are completely focused on saving dogs.

Rocket Dog Rescue’s ultimate goal is to help create a world where all companion animals have loving and permanent homes. A world where no good-natured companion animal, no matter what their age, are killed in shelters because they are considered surplus or unadoptable.
Whether you are visiting our site in hopes of adopting, volunteering or donating – welcome and thank you for your support!

Our Adoption Process...

Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment!
Adopters must complete an adoption application (http://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/), have a personal interview and possible home visit prior to adopting a Rocket Dog.
There is a non-refundable $280.00 adoption fee which helps us defer the cost of spay/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping.
