Ralphie's Story...
Dr. Ralphie at your service! Why don't you cozy up to the doctor of devotion and get your diagnosis? I can tell that your temperature is running high, mama, and you are in need of an emergency love transfusion. Well, I have that magic elixir for you! So long as you are a gentle person who will use only positive training methods and who does not have young children. I got the antidote to cure other dogs, and even though I am down one leg, I can still romp around with the best of ’em! As long as they ain't too squirrelly, some cats can even get my love remedy. I am now accepting new patients, but I ask that only the most patient and committed clients enroll. Don't be down in the dumps—let your love doctor Ralphie cure all your heartaches and pains. 3 years old-14lbs. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ralphie, a Portland Silky Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Silky Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier breeders who help with Silky Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
