MEET BRANDO! This diminutive, 7.5 lb, tri colored, 1 yr old Shih Tzu has been shuffled around far too much :( None of it was his fault! His original owner was a nurse, who decided she wanted to relocate abroad, and so she gave him to a family she thought would be perfect for him! Unfortunately, the husband was extremely allergic to poor little Brando, despite his short haircut but the previous owner would not take him back. So, the family called us and we’re glad they did!
Brando was a little shell shocked when he arrived, but he truly is a lover and a pleaser. He bonds very quickly. He loves having four legged furballs to play with and must have one in his life! He’s a real ladies man and plays like crazy with his foster sister, so a female would be best. He’s a great little snuggler, gives kisses when he knows you and seems to be potty trained (but no guarantees!). He is good with everyone; even when other dogs are barking in his face! Great with kids (over 5 yrs old please). He is going to be some looker when his hair grows back! Brando will be a wonderful addition to any family. Might that be you? He’s a favorite at LHH.

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
