My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shasta is a four year old calico shorthair. She was rescued from "tent city" in Camden, where she got by nursing her kittens on scraps of food. Shasta has a classic calico split personality; she is 90% sweet and 10% sour! She is usually very affectionate and wants to cuddle in bed or on your lap, but at times she wants to be left alone and will let you know. Shasta tolerates other cats as long as they don't challenge her position as the queen bee. She really is a sweetheart most of the time. Given her rough backstory, she is doing quite well.
