Debbie's Story...
Debbie is an adorable lab dauschund mix. Just look at that face and those ears! She is a very sweet and lovable girl who is 10 weeks old. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Alabama with her sister Penelope. Now Penelope has been adopted but little Debbie is still looking for a loving family to call her own. She will make a wonderful family pet that will be a devoted companion. A fenced in yard is needed for this nose to the ground hound mix to keep her safe while she explores and plays. She is a cutie and will probably get adopted quickly, so if you like her don't hesitate!

There is an adoption fee for Debbie which covers the costs of pulling her from the shelter, shots and transportation from Alabama to NJ. Please email Maria at charowskymaria@gmail.com if you are seriously interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Debbie, a Westwood Labrador Retriever/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Dachshund for sale in Westwood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Westwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Dachshund breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
