Maggie and Molly's Story...
Maggie and Molly are a bonded pair of Maltese mix girls!! Maggie is a Morkie (Maltese Yorkie) and Molly is a Maltipoo (Maltese Poodle). They are 6 years old. They came to our rescue when their owners could not keep them due to a change in employment and residence. Currently, they are living in a foster home with 5 children, dogs, and a cat. They are doing wonderfully and are housetrained! They are current on vaccinations and are heartworm negative. Both have spay appts. If interested in more information, email malecha70@gmail.com

We are trying desperately to keep them together. They have been together since 6 weeks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie and Molly, a Glastonbury Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
