Sophie's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sophie's Story...
Sophie is a petite sweet kitten. Sophie loves to climb into your lap and snuggle. She does great with other cats and would be a good fit in most households. Sadie and Sophie would do best being adopted together, they are very bonded. *Update. After her spay, she is having a rare sideaffect from the anesthesia causing her to have a head tilt. Her veterinarian explains that there is no known reason why however some cases of the side effect have been accounted for. It may go away at some point or may be here to stay. She is still a very playful kitten with a little extra story to tell. If you would like more information or to meet Sophie please contact us for details.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Carrollton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Carrollton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Carrollton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carrollton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carrollton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carrollton paves the way for another one to be saved.
