Our beautiful lady Nanni is ready to begin interviewing potential families that can offer her the loving and secure home that she has yet to experience. Nanni is one of the many dogs that were removed from a terrible hoarding situation recently where she lived in filth, feces and garbage. Nanni needed extensive grooming when she arrived and she was an absolute angel for the 3 hour long process of removing all of the mats and feces from her body. She is like a whole new pup now, and she looks and feels fantastic! Nanni is about 8 years old and this shepherd/retriever mix must have suffered for so long. She came in with several broken teeth which had to be removed, and evidence of being bred many times. Nanni does not hold her past against anyone and she is amazingly, the most outgoing and confidant pup in the bunch! Nanni absolutely loves people and has not stopped smiling and wagging her tail since the day that we cleaned her up. She is does not have a stitch of shyness about her and is a big hugger. She only needs to know you for a few seconds to consider you her new best friend and give you a hug and a smile. Nanni is well behaved, energetic, playful, and so very friendly. She is so happy to run in our exercise yard and to go for leisurely strolls. Nanni loves other dogs and people of all ages, and any great family would be lucky to welcome her into their hearts and home. File#24710 5/8/15
