Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This boy is sweet, sweet, sweet!!
Rocky is a two year old Terrier / Chihuahua mix. He weighs about 11 pounds, so he is the perfect size! Rocky is such a sweetheart! He loves everyone that he meets. He is a loving, gentle, sweet boy and loves to be held and give kisses. You will not find a more affectionate dog that is happy all the time. He is shy at first with new people but warms up very quickly. He is a total love with his person.
Rocky is ready to join his family and share a Wonderful life!
If you are interested in giving Rocky a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly 901-651-6322 or Angela 901-361-0089 anytime with questions.
Rocky's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the neutering, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transportation.
Rocky is living at the rescue in Tennessee with his best friend, Buddy. Rocky will travel to his new family by professional pet transport once he has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to Chicago / Milwaukee / Minneapolis areas.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
