My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper and Jelly Bean were turned into a high kill shelter by their owners who could not keep them any longer. They are a bonded pair. Pepper looks after Jelly Bean and they are just precious together. Both look like schnauzer mixes. Jelly Bean looks like maybe has some westie in him. He is approx 19 months old and 26.5 lbs. Pepper is approx 3 yrs old and 18 lbs. Both have very sweet personalities, seem to be pretty well leash and house trained and very well behaved. Pepper is more active and loves to run and play with the other rescues. Jelly Bean is a little more laid back. They both curl up on their doggie bed together and Pepper cried at the vets when Jelly Bean left him for his check up. They need to be adopted together as they would be lonely on their own. Both are very sweet dogs.
The total adoption cost of $650 includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration . The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. All our dogs are in foster care, there is no physical shelter. Some have not yet arrived in PA.
