Chrissy's Story...
Can't get enough affection!

Friends for Life agreed to help find this affectionate and friendly cutie a home when her owner could no longer care for her. Chrissy has striking tuxedo markings and celadon green eyes that will mesmerize you. She is very affectionate and friendly and truly loves, with a capital L!, lots of petting attention. She will let you know if she doesn't want the love to end.

She absolutely adores under the chin scratches and will crane her neck forward to make sure you don’t miss a single spot. She enjoys having a go at the cat wand and can’t resist proudly pinning it under her paw until you yank it free. This cute calendar cat is sure to bring lots of love and fun to your life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chrissy, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
